Will never forgive him for taking Fletcher off in the Cup Final and bringing on his best friend, Dailly.
"Yeah, we're 3-2 up, we're cruising, why not give Christian a chance to say he's played in a Cup Final before he retires?"
It's one thing when managers make honest tactical mistakes but when they make sentimental decisions that have nothing to do with football, especially on such an important occasion for the fans, they deserve nothing but abuse.
I hope Palace get relegated under him.

If he'd stayed we would have been relegated.

Next manager of the filth I reckon .hes good on a tight budget and always buys young players with a good resale value which is exactly what levy wants .

I was sooo pissed off when he went ...
Still to this very day I think it was a big mistake to let him go.

Pardew was a very fine manager and we should have kept him.
I also had great fun watching west ham when Pardew was manger. The FA cup final (which we drew) was definitly my west ham highlight in the last 30 years!
It got it all a bit wrong of a mess before he left, but we should have stayed with him.
I can not see him going up north again after his Geordie experience...

It's about timing sometimes and he needed to go at that time.
Experience since then has made him a better manager, and you can see his career going a lot further as he becomes wiser and more knowledgeable.

Pardew seems to be a manager that makes a lot of mistakes but learns from them, and becomes a better manager each time. I don't think it would have worked out well if he had stayed, but I wouldn't mind having him back one day.

It's worth remembering about the financial disaster that followed that it was the profit made on many of Pards' signings that kept us afloat. Harewood, Reo-Coker, Etherington, Benayoun, Konchesky, Mullins, Collins were all sold on for far more than Pards paid. And if sold at the right time we would have made significant profits on the likes of Ashton, Gabbidon, Green and Cole.

If he'd stayed he'd still have had to go through the financial disaster that occurred, when we couldn't even buy Diamanti without taking sponsorship money from about 4 years down the line!
Anything could have happened then. I don't think he'd have been the manager to take us through that.

It was time for him to go but he certainly wouldn't have bought the fucking shit players that Alan Curbishley brought in that transfer window that nearly crippled the club.

I will always love his time at West Ham mostly for promotion and a FA Cup final .... And the little matter of getting 33-1 on him becoming manager and winning more than a grand ... Due to WHO watching Paddy Power odds!!!!
